A comperative study to ınvestigate teaching processes of baglama and classical guitar

Abstract


In this study,  teaching processes of  bağlama (a long-necked Turkish lute)and classical guitar are investigated to be comparativly. The study aims to answer the following questions: How has the teaching process of these instruments proceed in our country? What are the teaching strategies of this instrument?  What differences and similarities between the teaching process of these two in instruments?

 

This is a qualitative research. The opinions of experts by using the interview technique was taken. Also, related literature were examined comprehensivly. The data that obtained from research were evaluated by applying methods of descriptive analysis. The results indicate that teaching processes of bağlama and classical guitar have some differences in our country and each instruments has their own theaching styles
