This journal adheres to the bibliographic and research paper formatting requirements laid out in the Publication Manual of the American Pyschological Association, 5th Edition (2001). Submission manuscript must be copied to the  publication template.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. 1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it send before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
   2. Manuscript must be copied to AND meet all formats in the publishing template.
   3. The submission cannot be canceled any time during the review process by author.
   4. Author transfers all copy rights to the IJHS by sending manuscript.
   5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the publishing template.
   6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Copyright Notice

Authors can retain copyright, while granting the journal right of first publication. Alternatively, authors can transfer copyright to the journal, which then permits authors non-commercial use of the work, including the right to place it in an open access archive. In addition, Creative Commons can be consulted for flexible copyright licenses.
